Sonu Sood promises to help 12-year-old city girl with heart ailment

p>Hyderabad: Actor Sonu Sood, who has been in the limelight for providing a helping hand to the needy during the lockdown from the COVID-19 pandemic, has now turned saviour to a city-based girl. The actor offered to help the girl with the treatment of her heart ailment when she met the actor on the set at Moinabad in the outskirts of the city. He heard her problem out and immediately offered help, the girl's parents told the media.
Tejasri, 12, a resident of Hafeezpet, has been suffering from a heart ailment since childhood. Her parents have heard about Sonu Sood helping many people. So when they heard that the actor was shooting at a farmhouse in Moinabad they approached him along with their child on Saturday.

Tejasri's mother told the actor that they have to spend Rs 20,000 per month only for medicines and, due to the present situation, their ability to pay for her treatment has only become tougher.
After hearing them patiently, Sonu Sood agreed to bear the expenses for the medicines and also promised to help if the child needs a heart transplant. The girl's parents thanked the actor for his immediate response.
