TSCHE extends last dates for DOST admissions in Telangana

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), on 26 October, extended the last dates for Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) 2020 for phase-III self-reporting, special phase registrations, and web options. TSCHE and the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education took the decision following the delay in the admission process due to the recent floods in Telangana, the holidays in view of the festivals, and after it received requests from students, parents, and colleges.

According to the revised admission schedule, the last date for online self-reporting of phase-III has been extended till 28 October. It is mandatory to self-report otherwise the candidate shall forego the allotted seat. Meanwhile, the last date for registrations of special phase and web options has been extended till 28 October. Special phase seat allotments will be announced on 31 October.

Candidates who are allotted seats in the special phase can self-report from 31 October to 5 November. The candidates who self-reported online in phase I, II, III, and special phase can physically report to colleges during the period.

Earlier, the DOST admissions process had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and now the recent heavy rains and floods in Telangana have hampered the process. However, the council has resumed the DOST admissions process. The candidates can log into https://dost.cgg.gov.in/ for more updates.
