Hyderabad: The Hyderabad regional passport office and passport back office has announced that all passport seva kendras in green and orange zones in Telangana will resume operations from 6 May. “Download Arogya Setu app on your mobile phone to track your health status. Before proceeding to the passport office, check your risk status on the app and commute only if your status is ‘safe’ or ‘low risk’,” an advisory from the regional passport office Hyderabad said. It further asked people to wear a mask and sanitise their hands before entering the offices.

The regional passport office, Hyderabad, had been closed since 25 March following the nationwide lockdown to combat Corona virus.

Meanwhile, the Central government has prepared a standard operating procedure for the return of Indian nationals stranded abroad. According to the Home ministry, non-scheduled commercial flights or Indian Navy ships can be arranged to bring these people home.
