Kodela was betrayed by TD alleges YSRC

Amaravati: Two YSRC MLAs from Guntur district alleged that Telugu Desam Party’s ill-treatment led to former speaker Kodela Siva Prasad to commit suicide. Ambati Rambabu and G Srinivasa Reddy questioned the sanctity of TDP President Chandrababu Naidu’s meeting with Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan. They posed 18 questions to the latter on Kodela’s issue.

In a jointly signed press note issued on Thursday, the MLAs declared that Kodela was betrayed by TDP when he was in trouble. They asked why Chandrababu did not visit the former speaker when he had attempted suicide a month ago. They told that the previous government was indifferent to the people of Narasaraopet complained of the atrocities conducted by Kodela’s family.

Ambati and Srinivasa alleged that with the support of Chandrababu, Kodela indulged in corrupt practices and land mafia. The MLAs spoke of BJP leader Raghuram’s allegations that that Kodela died due to humiliation from his party. They pointed out the problems of Chandrababu Naidu meeting the governor to complain about the government when the former AP CM had earlier declared his lack of faith in the system of governors.
