Nayanthara turns vegan for a reason, and we are in awe of it

Hyderabad: Actress Nayanthara is called the lady superstar of South only because of her dedication to work. She is very professional and always follows a policy that her personal life is not for sale and has kept that part away from media and fans. The Dora actress recently turned 35 and celebrated her birthday in New York with her long-time boyfriend Vignesh Shivan. The duo shared pictures from the big day and they look absolutely adorable together. Nayan is currently basking on the success of her recent blockbuster film Bigil, for which she paired up with Thalapathy Vijay for the first time.

Once she is back from her US trip, the actress will begin shooting for her next film Mookuthi Amman. This film will mark the directorial debut of actor RJ Balaji and he is jointly directing the film with NJ Saravanan. Balaji will be seen playing the lead role in this film which is about Goddess Amman. Nayanthara will be seen playing Goddess Amman in this film and the actress is going to make some changes in her lifestyle to play this role.

To play the goddess, Nayan is going to turn vegan till the film releases. Also, only vegetarian food will be served on the sets too. This is a spiritual film and so, the makers have decided to follow some rules on the sets.

This is not the first time the actress is going to do something like this. She is so dedicated to her roles that she can go to any extreme to give her best. While she was playing Sita in Telugu film Sri Ramarajyam, the actress had also become vegetarian. She stopped going to parties and watching television. She kept reading some good books to imbibe the authenticity in the role.

She has Darbar and Netrikann also in her kitty. Rajinikanth’s Darbar is slated for release on January 9, while Netrikann is still under production, and is produced by her boyfriend Vignesh Shivan under his banner Rowdy Pictures.
