TSRTC bus crushes three youth to death in Warangal, driver flees

Warangal: Three youth were crushed to death when a speedy TSRTC bus rammed into their bike at Gangadevipalli village in Warangal.

The victims have been identified as Itla Jagadish, 19, Nyala Naveen, 20 and Lakavath Ganesh, 21. There were around 15 passengers on board the bus when the accident happened. All passengers escaped unhurt in the incident.

According to police, the victims were heading towards Gangadevipalli from Warangal when TSRTC bus travelling in the same direction rammed into their bike.

Such was the impact of the hit that all three were thrown into the air before being crushed by the bus.

Police said the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the bike.

Immediately after the incident, the bus driver fled from the spot. Police have registered a case against the bus driver and started the investigation.

Inquiries revealed that Jagadish and Naveen belong to Ganagadevipalli village, while Ganesh hails from neighbouring Jangaon district.
