Warrant against AP CM's brother in law recalled

Hyderabad: In a major relief to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's brother in law, evangelist Anil Kumar, the Telangana High Court recalled the warrant issued against him by the Khammam District Court recently. The court also expressed surprise about how a lower court issued a warrant when there is a stay on the same case. The court, dealing with the quash petition, was moved by Anil Kumar's counsel seeking to quash the warrant issued against him.

The high court, while stating that the stay will be maintained until further orders, adjourned the next hearing to October 16.
