Four leaders joined the YSR Congress party in the presence of the chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during Memantha Siddham Yatra.

Among them are Venugopal--- TDP leader from Puttaparthi Constituency; Tirupathendra-- Janasena leader; K Peddanna and Venkataswamy--- TDP leaders from Puttaparthi Mandal.

Venugopal resigned from his position as DSP with the expectation of receiving a TDP ticket for the Puttaparthi constituency. However, he was left disappointed, as he did not receive the promised ticket.
