Union minister Jitendra Singh said that Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir to be held soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a recent rally in Udhampur.

Normalcy has been restored in J and K but the opposition parties are portraying 'wrong ground situation' after abrogation of Article 370.

There is no elected government in Jammu and Kashmir since the BJP withdrew from its coalition with the PDP in 2018.
