Dr. M. Sangeetha, an academician and literary figure with over 25 years of experience, was awarded the William Shakespeare Excellency Award 2025 in Hyderabad.

The award was presented by Prof. A. Karunakar, former Head of the English Department at Osmania University, during a special event commemorating World English Day and Shakespeare’s birth anniversary.

The ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s Degree and PG College Auditorium, King Koti, and was organized by the Vikas Bharathi Charitable Trust.

Dr. Sangeetha received a shawl, memento, and citation as part of the honor. The event celebrated the timeless relevance of Shakespeare’s literary legacy and its enduring impact on English literature and education.
