Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka visited Annapurna College of Film & Media, praising the students’ creativity and recalling ANR’s pioneering vision in establishing Annapurna Studios in a then-undeveloped area of Hyderabad.

He highlighted Nagarjuna Akkineni and Amala Akkineni’s leadership in continuing ANR’s mission through world-class film education at Annapurna College.
The Deputy CM appreciated the student-made film “Roll No. 52”, calling it a heartfelt and meaningful piece of work.
Emphasising the government’s goal of building a $3 trillion Telangana economy by 2047, he said the film industry will be a key driver and invited icons like Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna to contribute to this growth.
During his campus tour, he visited Annapurna Studios and ANR Sound & Vision (India’s first Dolby Facility Cinema), lauding the infrastructure and assuring government support to strengthen Telangana as a global hub for cinema, media, and creative innovation.
