Food safety teams inspected 387 hostels across Telangana in the past two months, finding many operating without required FSSAI licenses or registrations.

Numerous hostels were observed practicing unhygienic food preparation and storage, leading to issued notices.

Hostel operators were instructed to obtain FSSAI licenses immediately and follow FSSAI rules and regulations, with guidance available from food safety officers.
