Bollywood actor Govind (60 years) joined Shiv Sena in Mumbai after a 14-year hiatus from politics.

Govinda was elected as an MP from Congress party from Mumbai North Lok Sabha seat after defeating BJP's stalwart Ram Naik.

His first stint in politics was from 2004-2009 from the Congress party.

Govinda Ahuja is the full name of Bollywood star and said that he would work in the art and culture field if given a chance.
