Janta Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy to contest from Mandya for Lok Sabha 2024.

"To save the party and strengthen its roots, people of Mandya want me to contest," said Kumaraswamy.

Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda too separately indicated that Kumaraswamy must contest Lok Sabha elections for the benefit of the party.
