BJP Kerala state chief K Surendran filed his nominations from Wayanad.

Surendran was accompanied by Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani.

A roadshow was held in Wayanad where Irani talked about her Amethi win against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
