The ‘Living Temple’ exhibition was inaugurated at T-Works, Hyderabad, by Smita Sabharwal, IAS, and archaeologist KK Muhammed. The event aims to celebrate India’s temple art and heritage.

Featuring over 100 artworks by 30 renowned artists, the exhibition blends traditional temple art with contemporary expressions. Participating artists include Thota Tharani, Amar Ramesh, Drdha, Charanjeet, Parnavi Bangar, Rayanna Giridhar Gowd, and Vinod Daroz.
Smita Sabharwal emphasized making the event an annual affair, while KK Muhammed highlighted the need for innovative approaches to heritage tourism.
Artist Thota Tharani stressed the importance of respecting heritage and nature, sharing how he ensures no debris is left behind when dismantling sets. The event also features discussions on art and heritage tourism.
The three-day exhibition runs until March 2, 2025, at T-Works, Raidurgam, Hyderabad, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
