Former Karnataka Minister and mining baron G Janardhana Reddy rejoined the BJP ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

Reddy had formed 'Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha' (KRPP) ahead of the state assembly polls last year.

In the recent Rajya Sabha polls in Febraury Reddy had extended support to Congress candidates.

The entry of Reddy will strengthen BJP in Kalyana Karnataka region.
