The Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) led by Dalit leader Prakash Ambedkar nominated former MNS leader Vasant More as its candidate for the Pune Lok Sabha constituency.

Vasant More, recently quit the Raj Thackeray-led MNS.

Pune city is going to see a contest between More of VBA, Murlidhar Mohol of BJP and Ravindra Dhangekar of Congress.
