19-year-old Sara Arjun, a former child actor known for her role in Ponniyin Selvan, will play Ranveer’s love interest in the film, marking her transition to a lead heroine.

Fans expressed discomfort over the 20-year age gap between Ranveer (39) and Sara (19). Many voiced their concerns on Reddit, calling the casting choice “disgusting” and inappropriate.

Some fans defended Ranveer Singh, arguing that the casting decision was made by the filmmakers, not the actor himself. However, the overall reaction highlighted Bollywood’s history of pairing older male actors with much younger female co-stars.
