BRS MLA from Bhadrachalam Tellam Venkat Rao joined Congress in the presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Along with Venkat Rao, several BRS leaders from Bhadrachalam constituency joined Congress.

Venkat Rao is the third legislator who quit BRS in less than one month.
