The film had a strong opening, earning ₹2.15 crore on day three, but earnings steadily dropped from day four onwards.

Kareena Kapoor stars as Sergeant Jasmeet 'Jass' Bhamra, investigating a missing boy while coping with her son's loss.

The film marks Kareena's production debut, co-produced by Ektaa and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms.

Director Hansal Mehta praised Kareena as a "wonderful" actor with great energy and instinctive talent.
