The Telangana High Court Division disposed of the Writ Petition filed by Social Worker Bodusu Mahesh, seeking action against Beerla Illiah, MLA Alair Assembly Constituency for filing a false affidavit before the CEO, Telangana during the Assembly Elections 2023.

The Counsel for the petitioner said no action has been taken by the CEO, so he has approached this High Court with this plea.

The Chief Justice Bench directed the CEO of Telangana to decide on the representation given by the petitioner within 3 weeks.
