KCR rattled by our possible win in GHMC polls, fires dummy rounds: BJP

Hyderabad: A day after Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao pitched pitch for an anti-BJP coalition, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said TRS chief seems to have already accepted the defeat in the GHMC elections.

"KCR's announcement to wage a war against the BJP-led central government was irrelevant. BJP considers it as 'saber-rattling' and nothing more. This is not the first time KCR has threatened to build an anti-BJP alliance. He has been shaken by the rise of BJP across Telangana state. We are winning the majority of seats in GHMC elections," said K Krishna Sagar Rao, Spokesperson, BJP.

Addressing a joint meeting of TRS Legislature Party, TRS Parliamentary Party, and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) division in-charges on Wednesday, KCR accused Narendra Modi government of implementing "anti-people, anti-farmer, and anti-worker" policies.

Chief Minister announced to host a national conclave of the country's main opposition leaders in the second week of December in Hyderabad to launch a countrywide agitation against the Modi government.

BJP however lampooned KCR saying he has a habit of firing such dummy rounds at regular intervals. However, BJP is always ready and fired up to face another adversary in any form. KCR should not forget BJP's track record in fighting its political adversaries.
