A 21-year-old MCA student slipped to death after she tried to escape monkey attack in Warangal district on Wednesday.

Identified as G Sirisha, 24, she fell from a building while trying to flee.

Warangal police have registered a case and started investigation.

An MCA graduate, she was originally hailing from of Bhupalpally district. She was putting up at Mills Colony area in Warangal for professional training. She along with her friends' hed rented an apartment near the training center.

When she along with her friends were playing shuttle on Wednesday, a troop of monkeys arrived at the terrace of the building. Initially, they tried to drive them away, but the monkeys did not budge.

Fearing an attack, all of them started fleeing. In the process, Sirisha crashed into the parapet wall and fell from the top. She suffered multiple injuries and died on the spot, police said.

Her body was shifted for postmortem. Police said the body would be handed over to the family after autopsy.
