23YO law student `murdered’ at boyfriend’s home in Yakutpura

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old law student was found murdered at her alleged boyfriend’s room at Yakutpura in the old city on Sunday.

The victim has been identified as K Radhika. Police suspect her boyfriend Mustafa’s role in the murder.

After the incident, Mustafa is absconding.

Radhika’s brother Pawan Kumar alleged that Mustafa and his family members killed his sister

A resident of Asif Nagar, Radhika was in the second year of LLB at Mahatma Gandhi Law College in LB Nagar. She was also working as a dog trainer. Around five months ago, she informed her family about her relationship.

On Saturday afternoon, she informed her brother that she is going to train dogs and took Rs 500 from him. She also informed him that she will go to Mustafa’s home to discuss her marriage.

Sources said Mustafa had been ignoring her for the past few days. She however did not return home till night. She was not responding to the repeated calls as well.

On Sunday morning, her brother received a call from Rein Bazar police station informing about the death of Radhika at Mustafa’s home. When he arrived at the hospital, he noticed a cut on her throat. He alleged that Mustafa and his family members were behind the incident.

A murder case has been registered. Further investigation is underway.
