Offender breaks open ATM, fails to rob cash

Hyderabad: An offender entered an ATM between 2 am and 3 am on Thursday and opened it, but failed to remove the cash.

Mirchowk sub-inspector of police V. Anand Kishore said, “The offender used an iron hammer and screwdriver to open the ATM. The offender tried repeatedly to open the cash box inside the ATM but was unable to do so as the ATM cash box is very strong. Based on the CCTV footage from the ATM despite the offender covering his face we were able to arrest him. No money has been stolen from the ATM.”
