Hyderabad: The enforcement department arrested three Nigerians and seized six grams of cocaine from them following a raid at Tolichowki here on 21 August.
The three have been identified as Samuel Smith Nelson, James Morrison, and Marwan Abdul Kareem Abdullahal Taher. The officials also seized a car (Honda Civic) and a Yamaha Fazer bike which were allegedly used in transporting the cocaine. Also, four mobile phones were seized.
Inquiries revealed that Immanuel Ummudu supplied the drugs to the three men. Immanuel, who is absconding, had earlier been arrested twice – one by the excise enforcement, Hyderabad, and once by the Raidurgam police. He has shifted his base to Mumbai while his agents work in Hyderabad, the officials said.
The Nigerians were selling cocaine at Rs. 6,000 per gram. Their customers will be charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, the enforcement officials said. The three accused, original case papers, and the seized contraband will be handed over to the SHO, Prohibition and Excise Station, Golconda.
