4 caught with ganja in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police apprehended four persons under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act on 23 September and seized 3.5 kg ganja from their possession.

The special operation team, Madhapur zone, Cyberabad suspected the four men were in possession of marijuana and apprehended them at Kukatpally metro station.

The four have been identified as Gunja Naveen Kumar (25) and Aska Sravan (25) from Jeedimetla, and Kesavarapu Anand Maneshwar (25) of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh and Palike Ananth Kumar (25) from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh.

During interrogation, they admitted that Kesavarapu Anand had bought the ganja from Sathupally village in Khammam district and was trying the sell the same in Hyderabad to make easy money.

Later, the four men and the seized ganja were handed over to Kukatpally police station.
