4 days on, IBM employee still missing

Hyderabad: Avakash Mahanta, a 29-year-old IBM-Hyderabad employee and theatre artist from Delhi, was reported missing along with his bike since 29th August. According to his friends, Avakash was last seen between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm on 29th night at a cafe in Banjara hills and was on the way to his Madhapur house. 

With no sign of his whereabouts for close to four days now, his worried friends have filed an FIR at Madhapur police station. 

“We are right now left with no clues. The investigation has just started,” said N. Shyam Prasad Rao
“His phone went off on 29th night after speaking to his father. He said his battery was running out and would call back after reaching home. The last location we could it trace to is banjara”, says his friend Teja. 

Avakash has been staying in Hyderabad for the last eight years while his parents reside abroad.
