43YO missing Indigo Airlines engineer’s body found at Gaganpahad

N Madhava Rao, who is working as an engineer for the Indigo Airlines at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, had gone missing on Tuesday night.
It is suspected that he got washed away during the heavy downpour on Tuesday night. A native of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh, Madhava Rao had been working with the airline for the past few years.
Bodies of 10 other people who died due to rain-related incidents have also been traced on Thursday.
Madhava Rao was residing at Madhura Nagar at Shamshabad on the city outskirts. On Tuesday night, he had gone to Punjagutta to meet his relatives. When he was returning home on his scooter, he went missing en route. On Wednesday, his friends lodged a missing complaint at the RGI airport police station.
While teams were searching, they found an unidentified body at Gaganpahad in Shamshabad. Based on the clues in the missing complaint, police identified him as Madhava Rao.
It is suspected that while returning home on his scooter, he got washed away in the strong currents. His body was handed over to the family after a postmortem.
Bodies of other missing persons who were earlier feared drowned or washed away in the rain waters have been traced at Vanasthalipuram, Abdullapurmet, Hayathnagar, LB Nagar, and Shamshabad and Mailardevpally.
A boy from Shamshabad and three of a family are still missing at Mailardevpally. Search operations are on to trace these persons.
