Hyderabad : Unidentified people broke the window panes of a car parked outside a bank and robbed Rs 50,000 cash from inside the parked car. The incident occurred at Tandur Town of Vikarabad district on Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, Narsimhulu from Tandur Town, along with his mother had come to the State Bank of India branch to withdraw money from his mother’s GPF loan account. The bank authorities told him that only Rs 50,000 could be withdrawn, they withdrew the amount and the remaining Rs 70,000 was transferred online into Narsimhulu’s account.
After withdrawing the money, Narsimhulu dropped his mother at home and came back to the bank for some work. He parked the car outside the bank and went inside at 12.30 pm and returned around 12.50 pm and found the window panes of his care were broken and cash stolen.
Narsimhulu said that the cash along with his PAN and Aadhaar card, bank passbooks were wrapped in a plastic bag and kept in the rear seat.
Tandur town police registered a case and investigation has begun.
