6 YO bitten by stray dogs, dies after shifting five hospitals in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A six year-old-girl who was attacked by a pack of stray dogs at Changicharla, died after shifting five hospitals.The deceased succumbed to injuries hours after the attack, on May 30th (Saturday).

According to the family, the girl was washing clothes when a pack of stray dogs pounced on her, she suffered severe injuries on her legs and waist. The family rushed her to Aditya Hospital in Boduppal. However, two hours later, the parents shifted her to Ankura hospital for better treatment. Parents alleged that they were asked to pay the bill at Aditya Hospital for no treatment provided.

Her stay at Ankura Hospital, latest for 3 hours. For the third time, on doctor's recommendation the parents moved the injured girl to Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad.

As the condition of the girl kept worsening. The parents alleged that Yashoda Hospital denied admission and directed them to Fever hospital. The misery dint end there, in less than an hour after reaching fever hospital the parents to shift the girl to Niloufer Hospital, where she took her last breath.

“The treatment started at Fever hospital at around 5:30 PM. However, as her condition further deteriorated, the parents shifted her to Niloufer Hospital, where she died. It is to note that since 11:30 AM to 6: 30 PM the parents were running around with the injured kid,” said child-rights activist Achyuth Rao from Balala Hakkula Sangham.

The concerned Municipality officials were unavailable. Their version will be incorporation later .
