Hyderabad: The trailer of George Reddy has gone viral, raising expectations of audiences everywhere. Directed by Jeevan Reddy of Dalam fame, the film is all about the untold story of George Reddy, the youth leader who was murdered by his opponents at the age of 25. The film is slated for release on November 22, and the stage is all set.

Osmania University, which is featured in the trailer, has attracted many viewers. Those who have watched trailer are in awe of it. If you believed that the film was shot at the real Osmania University, let us tell you that you are wrong.

The team recreated a whole new Osmania University set for the film, and the process behind making something of this scale is quite impressive. We spoke to director Jeevan Reddy about it, and he revealed that the whole team behind the film put in a lot of effort in recreating the masterpiece.

“I just showed the image of Osmania University to the Art Director, and I told him that I want a set based on that at any cost. We knew that it would cost a lot, but we did not want to compromise in making the best for the film. Credit goes to the art director, who has come up with the creativity of erecting such a beautiful set,” he said.

The producers spent around Rs 1 Cr in making the set and have said that they haven’t compromised on anything. “There was a day when it rained heavily. We were afraid that the set would collapse from the strong wind. But thankfully, nothing happened. We happily shot on the sets in the film, and it has shaped up really well. We are waiting for the release,” added Jeevan Reddy.
