Actor Nikhil gets hitched amidst lockdown

Hyderabad: Actor Nikhil has finally joined in a wedlock this morning at 6:30 with his girlfriend in a very intimate affair. The wedding was originally scheduled to take place on April 16 but owing to corona pandemic, the ceremony was rescheduled. As the lockdown is seemingly indefinite now, the couple and the families had decided to have a wedding ceremony with close relatives at Nikhil's farm house adhering to the lockdown rules laid down. According to buzz, there may be a grand shindig for Pallavi's colleagues and stars from the industry too after the lockdown comes to an end.

Last night, Nikhil posted a picture of himself from Haldi ceremony. Congratulatory messages are pouring in from fans and celebrities from Tollywood.

Nikhil Siddharth, will be all set to be seen in his next thriller, Karthikeya 2, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and if things pan out as planned, by the end of this year.

Pallavi hails from Bhimavaram, has pursued MBBS and is a doctor. The couple met through mutual friends. Nikhil and Pallavi had been in a relationship for a few years before they tied the knot this morning. The event only involved close knit families of the bride and the groom. Although couples dream of a pompous wedding affair with their friends and family, Nikhil decided to abide by the norms imposed by the government to curb the spread of the virus. The duo got engaged in February, this year, in Goa. He had proposed to her in Goa ensued by an approval from their parents. He got down on one knee and courted her like a charmer and it was nothing less than a fairy tale.

Nikhil rose to stardom in Shekar Kammula's 'Happy Days' and has been seen occasionally in movies like Karthikeya, Keshava and Arjun Suravaram.

Love has made him a better person, a more responsible individual, claims Nikhil. He had fallen in love with her at the very instant he saw her and knew she was the one. She has also supported him and his career choices. Pallavi's parents were initially concerned and anxious about their darling daughter marrying someone from the film industry but Nikhil's mother assured them that the couple was meant to be. "We can't wait for their grandiose reception party post lockdown," fans and colleagues say.
