Actress and former Bigg Boss contestant, Archana engaged to longtime boyfriend

Hyderabad: Small-time Tollywood actress and Telugu Bigg Boss 2 contestant, Archana Sastry got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Jagadeesh Bakthavachalam, who works as a vice president for a leading healthcare company, on Thursday.
Making her silver screen debut with the movie Tapana, Archana went on to win the hearts of Telugu audience with her performance as supporting character Lalitha in Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2004) starring Siddharth and Trisha.
Other movies that earned her name include Mahesh Babu's Khaleja, Sri Rama Rajyam, Prabhas lead Pournami and Ravi Teja lead Balupu. Her last outing happened to be Vajra Kavachadhara Govinda featuring actor Saptagiri.
Archana had also changed her name to Veda for a brief time for film offers but later retained her original name. After taking a long break, she again appeared in the Telugu reality show, Bigg Boss 2.
The engagement ceremony was held at the Radisson Blue here in the city, was attended by actor and Bigg Boss 2 winner Siva Balaji along with his wife Madhumita, actor Sumanth, Navadeep, including parents of the couple along with relatives and close friends.
