Ajay Devgn starts shooting for SS Rajamouli film 'RRR'

Hyderabad: After a massive success with his latest release, ‘Tanhaji’ Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has joined the sets of the much-awaited SS Rajamouli film ‘RRR’. The actor was spotted at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport late Monday evening. Many of his fans went berserk on catching a glimpse of the star.

Upon his arrival, Ajay received a grand welcome from the team of ‘RRR’. The makers shared a picture of the actor along with director Rajamouli from the official twitter handle of the film with a caption, ‘‘All of us are super charged and ecstatic to kickstart our schedule with @AjayDevgn ji today... Welcome Sir! #AjayDevgn #RRRMovie #RRR (sic)’

After the massive success of the ‘Bahubali’ series, everyone is awaiting the release of Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. It was already mentioned earlier that Ajay will be seen in a crucial role in the film. The schedule is likely to continue for two to three weeks.

The schedule will consist of few intense action sequences featuring Ajay, Jr NTR and Ram Charan. It is also believed that the Ajay is said to be playing a mentor to the characters played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan.

‘RRR’ is a fictional story set in the pre-independence period and is based on two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem, which will be essayed by Ram Charan and Jr.NTR, respectively. Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Rahul Ramakrishna are among the ensemble cast of the film.

‘RRR’, which is being produced by DVV Entertainments, has music composed by MM Keeravani. The magnum opus was originally slated to release on July 30th but recent rumours say that the movie is postponed to Gandhi Jayanti. Although official news is awaited regarding the release date, the movie has created a lot of buzz among trade circles and has already garnered a lot of anticipation and excitement from the fans.
