Akshay Kumar to charge a bomb for his next

Hyderabad: National Award-winning actor and superstar Akshay Kumar has just come out of a remarkable 2019 and is promising even better for the year 2020.
The Good Newwz star has recently signed a film which will be directed by Anand L Rai. The film also stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. According to reports, Akshay will be charging a whopping Rs 120 crore for this project which will arrive in cinemas in the second half of 2020.
The Bollywood superstar has a number of projects in his kitty including Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj, Laxxmi Bomb and Belly Bottom lined up till early 2021.
As per Forbes, the 52-year-old actor draws in at least Rs 40 crore per film. He is also the only Indian actor to have made it to the Forbes Worlds Highest-Paid Actors Of 2019 list.
In the last two years, Akshay has delivered five back-to-back hits, each grossing over Rs 150 crore, exceeding expectations at the box office. His blockbusters in 2019 include Mission Mangal, Kesari, Housefull 4 and Good Newwz that collected Rs 202 crore, Rs 154 crore, Rs 206 crore and Rs 204 crore (expected) respectively.
The actor also reportedly declined deals of satellite channels and digital media giants that had approached him for multiple film tie-ups. According to trade experts, the superstar's market is showing an upward graph with every new film, hence he prefers selling his films on an individual basis.
Akshay will be seen next on the big screen in Sooryavanshi co-starring Katrina Kaif in which they will be donning the roles of an anti-terrorist squad chief and a doctor respectively, according to reports. The film is scheduled to release on March 27. Akshay and Katrina are reuniting after Tees Maar Khan (2010) for this film, which will be directed by Rohit Shetty.
