Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo to release on January 12?

Hyderabad: Stylish star Allu Arjun’s fans are awaiting the release of his upcoming film Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo, a Trivikram Srinivas directorial. This film, which sees Tabu making a comeback to Tollywood, has Pooja Hegde as the leading lady and features Sushanth, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Navdeep.

Speculations are rife surrounding the release date of the movie, and the latest reports indicate January 12 on the eve of Sankranti, while an official announcement is awaited. A Sankranti race sounds reasonable as Trivikram has a habit of attracting the festival audience. However, what makes it more special is that the stylish star is entering a big race, probably for the first time. Every year, on Sankranti, film directors rush to mark their release on the festive date as it attracts a lot of audiences.

Allu Arjun was last seen in Na Peru Surya Na Illu India, which released in May last year. It was a disaster at the box office. The actor announced his project more than a year later and that too with Trivikram Srinivas. Expectations are soaring. The actor has also signed with Sukumar and Venu Sriram.
