Mulugu: Two constables saved the lives of 38 people who were travelling on a bus. The incident took place near the MRO office, Mulugu at 2.30 pm on Tuesday.
Speaking to Newsmeter, Mulugu sub-inspector Rajendra Prasad said, “Constables Srinivas Reddy and Shankar were travelling back to the Mulugu police station on their motorcycles when the saw smoke emanating from the rear of a bus in front of them. Constable Srinivas overtook the bus and informed the driver about the smoke. The driver stopped the bus and asked the passengers to disembark. Arrangements for another vehicle were made so that passengers could continue with their journey forward.”
