Alia Bhatt rubbishes her breakup rumors with beau Ranbir

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been touted as the cutest couple in Bollywood for many reasons than one. A few years ago, Alia confessed that she had a crush on Ranbir from the age of 11. Her fans were happy that she was finally in a relationship with her crush. But looks like all is not well in the lovers’ paradise.
On March 15, Alia celebrated her 27th birthday but her celebration had one important person missing. The birthday video, where she was seen cutting two cakes simultaneously with her best buddy Akanksha Rajan Kapoor, her sister Shaheen Bhatt, and two others by her side. However her beau Ranbir was missing.
His absence raised a lot of eyebrows, which fueled a lot of speculations. Both their fans started asking them about their relationship, meme pages started posting the breakup rumors and a lot of gossip columns were full of their relationship timeline. The fans were disappointed with the news, especially those who actually believed the rumor that they were soon going to tie the knot.
Looks like Alia has some good news for her fans. Recently when a journalist asked if the wild rumors of her breakup with Ranbir are true, she laughed and said, “What rubbish!”
She put all the rumors to rest by not just diplomatically refuting the rumor but also by commenting on Neetu Kumar’s Instagram post.
Neetu Singh had posted a video of Rishi Kapoor practicing Yoga at home with the help of a virtual teacher. She captioned it as, “Stay home, stay healthy.” Alia commented on the post saying, “Superb!!!” with heart emojis.
Looks like Ranbir was after all spending time with his father, who recently battled cancer and underwent treatment in New York.
Ranbir and Alia are soon going to be seen together in 'Brahmastra’ which has been directed by Ayan Mukerji and bankrolled by Karan Johar. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan too in the lead role.
