Andhra govt plans to bring New Industrial Policy in next three months

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Industries, Commerce and Information Technology Mekapati Goutham Reddy released white paper on Industries in Nellore on Wednesday.

“The State government would also release a new Industrial Policy in two or three months that would help to set up world class Industries in the State,” he said.

While addressing a seminar on “Ease of Doing Business” in Nellore, Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy said that the problems of the industries would be addressed in every three months and the unemployed would be given training for skill development with international standards.

He further added that the state government was planning to lift industrial incentives in case they turn out to be a burden for heavy revenue deficit state.

“We are also planning to bring New Industrial Policy in the next three months. It will have solutions to the questions related to Industries including 75 percent local quota in industrial jobs,” Goutham Reddy said.
