AP High Court issues notices to Bapatla MP Suresh among 49 people on derogatory comments

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday issued contempt of court notices to 49 persons including Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh and former Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan for making derogatory comments on the high court judges and supreme court judges. The Andhra Pradesh HC took suo moto cognizance of the matter and issued notices to all the 49 people who made abusive comments on social networking platforms and televisions.

The Registrar ( Judicial) of the High Court has received many emails in the official email account and mobile phone with videos and postings in the social networking platforms in between May 22 and May 24

The mails and videos has revealed that the 49 persons made false allegations against the judges of high court and they also attributed the motives such as caste and Corruption against the judges of high Court and supreme court who delivered number of judgments in the recent times.

The postings on the social media of the 49 people has clearly revealed that they abused and threatened to the judges of high Court and supreme Court.

The Court observed that Bapatla MP Nandigama Suresh in his speech on Sakshi News Channel said that TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been managing the High Court and he also stated that how can Chandrababu Naidu came to know the verdict prior to 30 minutes or 10 minutes of its pronouncements and he shall be enquired and his call list be disclosed.
