Another trailer of Man vs Wild with PM Modi released

Much awaited episode of 'Man vs Wild' by Bear Grylls with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Discovery channel will be telecasted on August 12. After releasing a 46 second promo of the show, the channel released another trailer on Friday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen sharing his experiences, knowledge about the country's flora and fauna in the four minute trailer of Man Vs Wild show.



In the show, Modi is seen answering Bear Grylls question on cleanliness in India. Modi said, “Even though Indians follow personal hygiene very much, there is a need for Indians to develop social hygiene habits. It has to be done in a collective effort by all. The father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi also stressed about social hygiene and cleanliness in the country. We will soon achieve our cleanliness goals in the country.”



The full episode of the jungle adventure series has been shot in the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand and will be aired on August 12 at 9 pm.



Discovery channel has asked viewers to send in their messages for Prime Minister Modi and said that the shortlisted messages will be aired on the show on August 12. This show will premiere across 180 countries #PMModionDiscovery.

On its official Twitter account, Discovery tweeted Twitter, “Bear Grylls is in India to explore the wildlife. Visit our website and send a message to PM Modi and get a chance to watch your message on air.10 shortlisted winners messages will appear on 12 Aug, 9 PM. Watch #ManVsWild with Bear Grylls and Prime Minister Modi on 12 August at 9 PM.(sic)”



Many Indians expressed their excitement about the show and praised the Prime Minister for his initiative to create awareness about the environment and wildlife via the show.
