AP: 10 IPS officers posted in SEB to take on sand mafia

Vijayawada, May 12: The Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday posted 10 IPS officers in the newly formed Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) to crackdown against powerful liquor and sand mafia in the state.

The Bureau will function as an autonomous body and take strict measures to prevent illegal trade and transport of liquor and sand in the state. Director General of Police shall be Ex Officio Principal Secretary to Government of the newly created Department of Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB)

Senior IPS officer Vineet Brijlal, Director of Enforcement has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of SEB.

K Arif Hafeez, who was Officer on Special Duty (operations), Ramachodavaram,has been transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of police SEB, Guntur Rural. Dr. Garud Sumit Sunil, OSD (operations), Narsipatnam, has been transferred and posted as ASP of SEB, East Godavari.

Rahul Dev Singh, Squadron Commander of Greyhounds, has been transferred and posted as ASP of SEB, Visakhapatnam Rural.

Ajitha Vijendla, ASP ( Admin) Visakhapatnam Rural has been transferred and posted as ASP of SEB, Vizag city.

ASP ( Admin) of Kurnool, Gautami Sali has been transferred and posted as ASP of SEB Kurnool.

Vakul Jindal, who was working as ASP Ramachodavaram, has been transferred and posted as ASP of SEB in Krishna district.

The ASP of Narsipatnam, Rishanth Reddy has been transferred and posted as ASP of SEB in the Chittoor district.
