AP EAMCET exams to begin from September 17; here is the full list

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), on 14 August, announced the revised exam dates for the common entrance tests 2020. The AP EAMCET will now be conducted from 17 to 25 September. Earlier, it was scheduled to be conducted between 27-31 July.

The revised dates for AP ECET, AP ICET, AP PGECET, AP EdCET, AP LAWCET, and others have also been announced.

Andhra Pradesh will conduct the ICET on 10 and 11 September and the ECET on 14 September, while LAWCET will be conducted between 2 and 5 October. APEDCET will be held on 1 October and PGECET between 28 and 30 September.

ICET will be conducted on September 10 and 11, ECET on September 14, LAWCET- October 2 to 5, EDCET- October 1, and PGECET from September 28 to 30, 2020.

Exam pattern

AP EAMCET is a computer-based test and it will be conducted in two sessions – from 10 a.m to 1 p.m and 2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m. The qualifying percentage marks for the test is 25 per cent of the maximum marks considered for the ranking. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, conducts the examination on behalf of APSCHE for admission to engineering, medical, agriculture, and management courses.

It is the second-largest technical university in the country with 273 affiliated colleges. The university separated from the erstwhile Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2008.

Meanwhile, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has said it will hold the postponed state-level entrance exams in September. The TS EAMCET will be held on 9, 10, 11, and 14 September. For agriculture and medicine streams, the dates will be announced after NEET 2020 which is scheduled to be held on 13 September.
