Amaravati: In the wake of complaints that software professionals were facing problems in getting broadband connectivity while working from home in Andhra Pradesh, the state government has decided to provide the same to those requiring the services.

IT minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy has taken a decision to this effect to avoid employees from falling victims to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Software professionals from not just other places in the country but also foreign countries reached homes in the state to stay safe with their relatives and also to look after their parents. Adapting to the situation, many organisations have allowed their employees to work online from their homes.

It has come to the notice of the government officials that these employees have been facing problems in getting connected to the internet due to weak signals. To avoid broadband connectivity problems, the state government has decided to provide quality services to all those working from home.
