Vijayawada : The state government has decided to sell vacant government land belonging to various departments in Vizag city and Guntur under ‘Mission Build Andhra Pradesh' programme.
The government will conduct e-auction on May 29 and anyone can participate by depositing the security amount.
As part of the mission, the unused government land would be sold at market price and the revenue generated will be spent on the implementation of welfare schemes and infrastructure development.
The land at six locations in Vizag city and three locations in Guntur will be auctioned. The reserve price of the identified lands is Rs 208.62 crore.
In Vizag city, the land measuring over 5.5 acres at Chinagadili, Aganampudi, and Fakirtakia areas will be auctioned. Similarly, 13-acres of land located at Nallapadu, Srinagar, and GT Road in Guntur will be auctioned on May 29.
The reserve price for one-acre land (Residential Area) at Chinagadili was fixed at Rs 16.64 crore. The base price of the one-acre land at Fakirtakia (Industrial Area) was fixed at Rs4.5 crore.
The base price of the 1.72 acres land at Main GT Road Guntur (Commercial Area) was fixed at Rs 67.36 crore.
