AP Intermediate to introduce e-Admission for first year students

Hyderabad: Amidst the nation-wide lockdown due to Coronavirus, the educational sector was amongst the first ones to make necessary changes in order to make sure the virus is not spread to greater extents. Announcements like declaring the shutting down of educational institutions and postponing the examinations for tenth standard across boards were some of the precautionary measures taken by educational institutions.

Coming up with yet another crucial announcement which could help in reducing public gatherings, the Board of Intermediate, Andhra Pradesh have announced that they will be undertaking computerized automated student online intermediate admissions system/e-admissions from the academic year 2020-21. A circular was already issued in this regard on March 3, 2020.

The admission process will take place in due course of time and will be available on the BIEAP website, i.e., bie.ap.gov.in. The board also requested the parents and students to not take admissions directly in the college for the first year intermediate courses. This clarification has come in after the Board of Intermediate, Andhra Pradesh had got information about few private, un-aided junior colleges affiliated to BIE, Andhra Pradesh are taking admissions for Intermediate first year (2020-21) and are also collecting admission fee.

The Intermediate examinations in Andhra Pradesh began back on March 5 and finished on March 23.
