`Arjun Reddy’ director supports CAA, NRC

Hyderabad: Tollywood director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the latest celebrity to support the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC).

Sandeep, who made his directorial debut with Superhit 'Arjun Reddy’, took to Twitter to voice his support for the CAA and NRC.

“I TRUST MY PRIME MINISTER' is my answer to all the questions related to CAA, NRC and forcefully imposed imaginary fear related to my Muslim brothers living in our country. India is still equally the safe place to all the religions,” he said.



Besides, Arjun Reddy, Sandeep also directed its Hindi remake Kabir Singh which starred Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The Tamil remake was directed by a debutant Gireesaaya.

Reddy rarely speaks about public interest matters. He lately spoke about Hyderabad veterinary doctor’s rape and murder case which shook the entire nation.

“FEAR is the only factor which can change things radically in society and FEAR should be the new rule. The brutal sentence will set an example. Now every girl in the country needs a firm guarantee. I request @warangalpolice to come into action,” he had tweeted



He was called a hypocrite by most of the netizens after he made Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, which mainstreamed violence against women.

Reddy is currently reported to be working on his next film titled Devil.
