Bank employee's partner attacks her husband, arrested

Hyderabad: Police arrested a city-based businessman who was allegedly having a physical relationship with a bank employee at Malkajgiri in the city. The accused 40-year-old Chiluka Vijay Kumar had reportedly assaulted the bank employee's husband when the latter caught the two of them in a compromising position in their house.

The victim who works for a corporate firm at Secunderabad and his wife, who is working for a nationalized bank, have been married for sixteen years. The couple is residing at Malkajgiri along with their two children. On Friday night, when the victim returned home from work, he found an unidentified person, naked and in a compromising position with his wife in the bedroom of their house. He caught them red-handed and reprimanded them.

Vijay Kumar, in an attempt to escape picked up a stick and assaulted the victim. He injured him on the head, hands and back. Vijay Kumar further threatened the victim of dire consequences and fled from the spot.

The victim, on inquiring with this wife found that Vijay Kumar was a customer at the bank where his wife was working. During his visits to the bank frequently, he developed a friendship with his wife.

Gradually, they exchanged mobile numbers and started conversing. Soon they became friends and finally began having a physical relationship with each other. Taking advantage of the victim's absence, Vijay Kumar came home and was caught by the victim.

Vijay Kumar was arrested and produced before the court and also sent to remand.
